Class council member elections, presidential nominations and campaigns, oath-taking ceremonies, and the founding assembly—September is traditionally recognized as the period when the Student Council is formed.
On September 23, presidential elections were held, with 359 out of 392 students from grades 6-12 casting their votes. Of these, 78.3% expressed their confidence in 10th grader Sara Martirosyan, electing her as the new Student Council President.
On September 29, the Founding Assembly of the Student Council took place. The event opened with remarks and a brief annual report from Arevik Khosyan, who served as president of the council from 2023 to 2025. In her speech, she highlighted the importance of teamwork, emphasizing that the path to success often lies through active and sometimes conflicting discussions, which should not be feared. Wishing success to the newly elected president, Khosyan stated that the collaborative work of previous years gives her confidence that Sara Martirosyan will excel in her new role.
In her first official address, Sara Martirosyan underlined that she had inherited from her predecessors a council with a charter built upon rights and opportunities. Therefore, she is confident that every member—especially newcomers—will continue to enjoy opportunities to uncover, exercise, and expand their rights, just as before.
During the founding session, the allocation of council members into committees and the election of the leadership team were finalized. The 44 council members were distributed across five committees:
Educational and Cultural Committee – chaired by Anna Galstyan (Grade 10)
Disciplinary Committee – chaired by Eva Hayrapetyan (Grade 9)
Sports Committee – chaired by Mariam Asatryan (Grade 8)
Media Committee – chair to be elected soon
External Relations Committee – chaired by Minasyan Susanna (Grade 8)
As for the Student Council leadership team, this academic year the work of the council will again be coordinated by three vice presidents:

Sona Khachatryan (Grade 8), vice president for the Varshavyan 45 campus․
Emma Sargsyan, the current vice president, for the Azatutyan 2nd Lane, Building 9 campus․
