Off-site Meeting within the “Conscious Parenting” Platform

The “Conscious Parenting” platform of the “Usum” Comprehensive School continues to expand both the audience and the geographical reach of its meetings. Following two successful in-house sessions, the “conscious ones” (author’s wording), guided by a vision of sharing their innovative initiatives and accumulated experience, gathered this time under the roof of the “Ayb” School.

The goal of the seminar remained unchanged: to address the key directions of modern parenting and to offer parents practical, applicable approaches based on conscious choices and mutual cooperation.

During the seminar, the speakers presented and discussed a range of important parenting-related topics, including positive parenting, parental self-care and emotional balance, stable and effective child–parent communication, tools for developing children’s creative thinking, as well as effective teacher–school collaboration within the educational process.

The off-site seminar was organized in an interactive format, creating an open and trustworthy environment. Participants not only became acquainted with professional approaches, but also took part in practical and self-reflective activities, receiving clear and actionable advice that can be applied along the complex and responsible path of parenting.

The range of participants was notably broad. Around 120 parents gathered under one roof, engaging in guided activities that encouraged them to revisit their childhood experiences and reaffirm the irreplaceable role of parents throughout a person’s entire life. The atmosphere fostered positive experience-sharing, the building of mutual trust, and the strengthening of the parenting community.

It is also worth noting that the seminar was held within the framework of the final round of the “Marduk-Karduk” educational competition organized by the “Bvik” Educational Foundation. While parents were participating in the seminar, children were testing their skills in the competition’s final stage, demonstrating their knowledge, creative thinking, and acquired abilities. Symbolically, the simultaneous organization of the competition final and the off-site seminar once again highlighted the importance of family–school collaboration and the need for the involvement of all stakeholders in the educational process.

At the conclusion of the seminar, participants unanimously emphasized that conscious parenting is not merely a choice, but a requirement of modern society and the contemporary educational environment.
