"First Grade: A United Start Toward Success" handbook presentation

The “Conscious Parenting” Seminar Series Continues to Explore the Art of Parenthood․

On November 8, Usum School hosted the next seminar of the “Conscious Parenting” series — an event filled with sincerity, self-reflection, and new perspectives on relationships.

The meeting brought together not only parents already facing the challenges of raising children, but also future parents, educators, and psycho-pedagogical specialists preparing for that journey.

From the very beginning of the opening speeches, a central idea emerged — this seminar series serves as a platform where parenting is viewed as a developing, mindful, and heartfelt process, free from criticism, judgment, or labeling.

The event stood out for both the participants’ engagement and the organizers’ professional approach. Through a rich blend of theoretical insights and practical exercises, participants not only received answers to their pressing questions but also shared their personal parenting experiences, collectively proposing effective strategies for everyday challenges.

During the seminar, speaker M. Petrosyan focused on the foundations of conscious parenting, emphasizing that it begins with the parent’s self-awareness, emotional regulation, and the ability to understand a child’s individuality with mindfulness.

Later in the event, S. Tamaryan, the school principal, together with the authoring team, presented the new methodological handbook “First Grade: A Unified Start Toward Success”, designed for children aged 4–7. The publication combines pedagogical explanations with engaging activities that foster a child’s confident and stable first steps in education.

The authors expressed confidence that the handbook will serve as a reliable companion for both parents and teachers during a child’s educational and emotional adaptation period.

At the end of the session, participants shared their reflections, noting that such discussions contribute not only to the acquisition of theoretical knowledge but also to the re-evaluation of their own parenting roles.

“This was more than a seminar — it was an opportunity to listen, feel, and learn from one another,” one participant remarked.

In conclusion, Usum School announced plans to continue organizing similar meetings, each time focusing on new topics related to parental communication, emotional development, and pedagogical approaches.
The seminar team warmly welcomes all interested individuals who are ready to continue their journey toward conscious and mindful parenting.
