On September 29, 2025, the Armenian Lawyers’ Association organized the high-level closing event for the presentation of the RA Police Reform Strategy. As part of the program, the results of two contests — “Speak the Language of Justice” (essay competition) and “Picture Justice” (art competition) — were announced during the event.
In her remarks, Anahit Mardoyan, the coordinator of the essay and art competitions, noted that the goal of these initiatives was to assess and highlight young people’s perceptions of justice, law enforcement, and human rights.
“We received quite positive and encouraging feedback, which shows that the competition was a success. It is evident that young people are not afraid to express their opinions, analyze issues in the field, and offer possible solutions,” said Anahit Mardoyan.
Each competition had three main prize winners and two recipients of special awards. The scope of participants was impressively broad — ranging from school students to college and university learners.
Referring to the essay competition results, it is worth noting that our school once again recorded one of the best outcomes. Among the top three was Narek Khachatryan, a 10th-grade student and Vice President of the Student Council, who took second place, becoming the only school student awarded in a contest otherwise dominated by university participants.
It should also be mentioned that this marks the second major achievement of the Student Council and Narek himself in essay competitions. Earlier in March, Narek had achieved first place nationwide in the Republican Essay Contest aimed at preventing school bullying.
