Before the start of the meeting, the members of the Student Council visited the History Museum of Armenia to explore the exhibition titled "Mother of God: From Anahit to Mary."
Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports, Zhanna Andreasyan, greeted the students and inquired about their impressions of the exhibition.
"This year, we declared the academic year as the Year of Cultural Education, and in this context, we place great importance on organizing educational processes in museum environments, providing the opportunity to gain knowledge from such settings. We need to change our attitude towards museum activities because a museum is a living environment where every exhibition is the result of research and conveys certain research ideas and knowledge about the internal connections of the exhibits to visitors," said the Minister.
The students, sharing their impressions of the "Mother of God: From Anahit to Mary" exhibition, mentioned that it had evoked positive emotions and a sense of pride, emphasizing the importance of promoting Armenian culture. They were particularly impressed by the chronological connection within the exhibition, the representation of Armenian women through different ages, and the overall value of the exhibits preserved in the History Museum.
