Victory in the "Global to Local" Foundation Essay Competition

An essay (from the Latin essentia meaning "essence" or "content") is a literary work in which the author presents their thoughts and viewpoints on a specific topic or issue. It can be seen as a form of free expression or discussion of ideas.

An essay typically lacks a narrative structure, unlike a novel or short story, and is instead focused on a detailed analysis of the issue or topic under consideration. It includes explanations, facts, examples, as well as reflections that help to understand the importance or significance of the subject.

One of the requirements of the state educational standards for general education is the inclusion of this genre in the educational process, which is successfully implemented at the "Usum" school. A vivid example of this is the victory of Narek Khachatryan, a 10th-grade student, in the essay competition announced by the "Global to Local" Global Public Foundation, titled "School Bullying: I Am Against It."
