Excursions have a special place at "Usum" school. Here, no excursion is purposeless, and the motivation for choosing any excursion direction is not entertainment. It has long been no secret that the most substantial knowledge is based on experience. This is the foundation upon which excursions are organized in our school. Their goal is to transform what the student hears within the classroom into concrete, visible, and tangible knowledge, in other words, to materialize the idea.
Excursion directions at our school are reviewed and approved at the beginning of each academic year based on the proposals of subject-methodical units and the approval of the administration. The main condition for the presented directions is that they should be not only cognitive but also practical, forming skills that lead to the expected final result in the short term.
Excursions not only contribute to intellectual development, but also stimulate the personal growth of students from social, cultural, and emotional aspects. They provide an opportunity to engage in collaborative activities and acquire interaction skills.
Over the years, many of the excursion directions approved by the responsible coordinators have been the first in the country’s list of school excursions, being not only innovative but also serving as examples for other schools.
