The History Museum of Armenian Wine, located in the village of Sasunik, Aragatsotn region, is one of the most rapidly developing and interesting tourist destinations. This is why it is emphasized as an important excursion component in the educational process by the responsible coordinators of our school.
The main exhibition hall of the museum is located at a depth of 8 meters beneath the basalt rock layers, where the chronological stages of wine development in the Armenian Highlands are presented in detail, as well as the connection between wine and various aspects of Armenian history and culture.
The development of viticulture and winemaking in the Armenian Highlands is presented in the museum not only through the documentation of facts and explanations but also with interactive and innovative solutions․
The displayed artifacts related to winemaking provide students with the opportunity to form a certain understanding of the ancient Armenian culture, highlighting Armenia's role in the region and the world as a whole. As part of the program, students also have the opportunity to visit the "Armenia Wine" winery, where they can familiarize themselves with modern winemaking technologies.
