The "Career Orientation" course can already be confidently considered one of the successful educational modules introduced as a result of the new National Curriculum. Even in its first year of implementation, Usum students had several opportunities to meet with professionals from various fields outside of regular classes.
This time, 10th-grade students had the opportunity to meet with representatives from the Yerevan office of the “Erasmus Student Network” NGO.
Erasmus Plus is a leading educational initiative of the European Union that opens up vast opportunities for young people. This comprehensive program encompasses the fields of education, training, youth development, and sports, aiming to broaden participants' worldviews through intercultural exchange and international cooperation.
During the meeting, students were introduced to international academic programs and were able to explore both the motivational aspects and relevance of applying to such opportunities.
The teachers delivering the module, along with the NGO representatives, were confident that this meaningful meeting was an important step for high school students in assessing their skills and needs—and could lead to promising long-term outcomes.
